Last Monday I lost Skippy.  He'd been sick for awhile, but I made sure he was spoiled and got to spend a lot of time with his friends.  He was happy and the last day was peaceful.  Always next to me, even at the drawing desk, and that's where he chose his last moments. It's going to be hard for awhile,  he was about to turn 12, I've had him since he was kitten.  

Skippy was a very good and important buddy, always attentive and the heart inside him was bigger than the one outside. He is the inspiration for Pumpkin, and I'm so fortunate I was his friend.
